A true star at large. Popular Recording artist Mr Lexx is taking over the Big Screen.  Mr lexx guest star in independent film Wah Do Dem Written, directed and produced by Ben Chace and Sam Fleischneryes. Mr Lexx is a man of many talents, and acting is definitely one.  Mr. Lexx is  an accomplished musician and Actor . He not one of those people that call out a profession and can’t back it up. In 1989 He attended Kingston’s Fox Drama School. He appeared in several plays.  In 1992 he earned a best actor award for is outstanding performance.

“I’m not a singer, I’m not a deejay, I’m an ENTERTAINER”, asserts Mr. Lexx, the resonant, rolling tongued dancehall sensation formerly known as Lexxus, who is on a mission to take Jamaican music to the heights of international popularity. Born and raised in the Mountain View area of Kingston, Jamaica, Christopher Palmer known as Mr. Lexx is a massive solo artist who is on a blazing pass of success in the entertainment business.Mr. Lexx has been nominated for a MTV Music Video Award. In June of last year Mr. Lexx teamed up with Santigold and created a hit called “Hold the Line” which opened new doors for Mr. Lexx. The crossover song has him at a very good stage in his music career. The video was getting heavy rotation on MTV. The creative thought process behind the execution of the Major Lazor video left the fans craving for more.

“One good thing about music, when it hits- you feel no pain” quoted by the legendary Bob Marley, and this quote helped Mr. Lexx embark in his career. Anytime Mr. Lexx takes a glance at this quote, he is determined to drop new and smashing hits, one after another.

Written, directed and produced by Ben Chace and Sam Fleischner, WAH DO DEM is also produced by Katina Hubbard, and executive-produced by Henry Kasdon and Daniel C. Murray. WAH DO DEM enjoyed its world premiere at the 2009 LA Film Festival where it was honored with the top jury prize for Best Narrative Film. The movie went on to screen at the London, San Francisco IndieFest, Spokane (Best Feature), Reggae (Best International Feature), and Vancouver film festivals.


In WAH DO DEM, young Brooklyn musician Max (Sean Bones) decides to go on a Caribbean cruise alone when his girlfriend Willow (Norah Jones) dumps him cold two days before the trip. Once in Jamaica, Max quickly escapes the tourist zone for more “authentic” surroundings and in the process is robbed of his possessions and is stranded, and literally misses the boat. As Max sets out for the American Embassy in Kingston on foot, Jamaica is waiting to meet him with unexpected and extraordinary encounters, including a full-moon celebration with the legendary reggae group The Congos, and a dreamy stay with a Rasta prophet
