This year “Face My Abuse” Domestic Violence Walk is to raise awareness in our community concerning domestic violence, not just to the victims but also to their family and friends. Through the “Face My Abuse” Domestic Violence Walk the organization hopes to reach out, inform, and become of assistance to those individuals in need, being of guidance to these victims to no longer be accepting of their domestic violence situations and provide them with the resources to end and prevent becoming a victim of domestic violence. Founder Jacqueline Rowe, domestic violence survivor and former A-list celebrity consultant has redirected all of her energy to this cause because she believes in the empowerment of women and the youth without any sort of violence. This year “Face My Abuse” will hold an early breakfast along with a Letting Go Ceremony as a symbol of becoming an advocate of domestic violence for all those that have suffered or lost someone through any domestic violence act.
